Terms & Conditions

General

By purchasing services or attending classes at Stoked Studio, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. All prices are listed in AUD and are inclusive of GST where applicable. These terms may be updated from time to time, and it is your responsibility to remain informed of any changes. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Bookings & Attendance

All classes must be booked in advance through our booking system, and payment is required prior to booking. We recommend arriving at least 5 minutes before your class to allow time to settle in. For the safety of all clients and to minimise disruption, entry may be refused once a class has commenced, and late arrivals may forfeit their booking.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy

We operate a strict cancellation policy to ensure fairness to all clients. Classes may be cancelled without penalty up to 6 hours prior to the scheduled start time. Cancellations made within 6 hours of class will incur a $10 late cancellation fee and result in the forfeiture of the class credit. Failure to attend a booked class will incur a $15 no-show fee and result in the forfeiture of the class credit.

Although we understand that last minute illness, work commitments, or unexpected circumstances may result in a late cancellation, fees will not be waived. This policy ensures fairness and consistency for all clients and allows waitlisted clients the opportunity to attend.

Waitlist

If a class you want is full, you can join the waitlist. Should a place become available, you will receive a notification confirming you have been added to the class. Joining the waitlist indicates an intention to attend that class, and you are required to remove yourself from the waitlist or class if you can no longer attend.

The same cancellation period applies for waitlisted clients, with changes required at least 6 hours prior to the class start time. If you do not have an active pass or membership available to take the spot, your place may be offered to the next client. Late cancellation and no-show fees apply to any class you are added into from the waitlist.

Please note that you may be added into a class with short notice, including overnight for early morning sessions. We recommend checking your schedule or removing yourself from the waitlist to ensure you do not miss a class.

Memberships

Payments

Memberships are billed on a recurring basis and it is your responsibility to ensure sufficient funds are available for each payment. Failed payments may incur a processing fee, and accounts in arrears may result in booking restrictions until resolved. Some memberships may include a minimum commitment period, and early termination may not be permitted during this time. Membership rates may be reviewed periodically, and any changes will be communicated in advance.

Minimum Commitment

All memberships are subject to a minimum 12-week commitment period. By signing up, you agree to adhere to the terms of this minimum term, including all booking and cancellation policies.

Memberships cannot be cancelled during the initial 12-week commitment period. Following this period, memberships will continue on a rolling basis and may be cancelled with a minimum of 2 weeks written notice.

Additional Classes

Membership holders may purchase additional classes outside of their allocated weekly limit at a discounted rate. This rate will be applied automatically at the time of booking where applicable.

Holds

Membership holds are available with written request, with a minimum duration of two weeks and a maximum of eight weeks within a 12-month period. Holds must include a specified end date and will extend any applicable minimum term. Memberships cannot be cancelled while on hold.

Cancellation

Membership cancellations require a minimum of 2 weeks written notice and can only be processed if your account is active and up to date. Membership cancellations cannot be processed while an account is in arrears. All outstanding balances must be settled prior to cancellation.

Class Packs & Expiry

The 10 Class Packs are valid for 4 months from the date of purchase, and the 5 Class Packs are valid for 2 months from the date of purchase. Sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable, and expiry dates are strictly enforced to ensure fairness and consistency for all clients.

Introductory Offers

Our introductory offer of 5 classes (valid for 14 days) is available to new clients only and may be purchased once per person. The offer is non-refundable and will activate from the date of your first class booking.

The offer cannot be shared, transferred, or repurchased. Any misuse of the introductory offer, including multiple purchases, may result in suspension and additional charges for any classes attended beyond the terms of the offer.

Studio Etiquette

To maintain a calm and respectful studio environment, all personal belongings must be stored in designated areas, including bags and shoes. Our studio is a peaceful, clutter-free space. Food and chewing gum are not permitted in the studio.

Mobile phones may be brought into the studio if kept on silent and placed out of the way so they do not distract you or other clients.

Clients are expected to remain for the full duration of the class. If you need to leave early, please inform your instructor before the class starts and position yourself near the exit.

Grip socks are required for all reformer classes for hygiene and safety purposes and are available for purchase in the studio. Clients are expected to follow instructor guidance at all times.

Health & Safety

By attending Stoked Studio, you acknowledge that you are physically capable of participating in Pilates classes and agree to inform your instructor of any injuries, pregnancy, or medical conditions that may affect your participation. You agree to complete any required health forms and keep your information up to date.

Liability

You understand that participation in Pilates and fitness activities carries inherent risks, and you voluntarily assume all such risks. To the extent permitted by law, Stoked Studio and its instructors are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained during classes, whether in-studio, outdoors, or online.

Photography & Privacy

From time to time, photos or videos may be taken within the studio for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be included, please notify us in writing. Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and will not be shared without your consent unless required by law.

Studio Rights

Stoked Studio reserves the right to cancel a class where there is low attendance. In this instance, clients will be offered a spot in another class at a similar time, subject to availability.

We also reserve the right to change class types, instructors, or schedules due to unforeseen circumstances, including illness or emergencies. Any changes or cancellations will be communicated as soon as possible via email, SMS, or in-app notification.

Personal Safety & Acceptance of Risk

By attending Stoked Studio and participating in classes, you acknowledge that Pilates and physical exercise involve inherent risks, including the risk of personal injury. Participation in all classes is undertaken at your own risk.

You agree to inform your instructor prior to class of any injuries, medical conditions, pregnancy, or anything that may affect your ability to safely participate. This includes any changes to your condition over time.

While our instructors are highly trained, they are not medical professionals and are not qualified to assess whether you are fit to participate in exercise. If you have any concerns about your health or ability to exercise, you should seek advice from a qualified medical professional prior to attending classes.

By participating in classes at Stoked Studio, you acknowledge and accept all risks associated with exercise and agree that, to the extent permitted by law, Stoked Studio and its instructors are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur as a result of your participation.

You acknowledge that instructors may use tactile cueing or physical adjustments to support your movement and technique during class.
